If you happen to be an established online poker player the term ECOOP will be well known to you and put a smile on your face. For those of you who are still new to the world of online poker: ECOOP stands for European Championship of Online Poker and the upcoming event is actually the fourth since December 2007.
The ECOOP IV is once again bigger and better and allows you to compete for your part of the imposing $4,550,000 that are waiting in the total prize pool. The first of the 14 events will be held on May 25 and each day there will be another tournament that allows you to win your part of the $4,550,000 as well as your ECOOP IV bracelet.
After 2 weeks of playing different poker variants (Texas Hold’Em, 7 Card Stud and Omaha) the Championship will culminate in the main event – a NL Texas Hold’Em tournament for a stunning $1,500,000! This final event will be held on June 7 and has a buy-in of $1,500+$80. Alternatively you can of course qualify through satellites prior to the event – this option is available for all the 14 different events of the ECOOP IV.
