Can you remember? Can you remember when we were little kids and became excited each and every Easter when it was finally time to go and search (and subsequently eat) the Easter eggs our parents carefully hid before? While most of us stopped living out this custom at some point in our lives (at least the active part of it), bwin Poker lets you relive the hunt for Easter eggs. At least digitally.
What we are talking about here is a unique – and admittedly somewhat weird – poker tournament. It will take place on the 4th of April at 21:00 (GMT +1) and is called the $10,000 Easter Egg Hunt. You can find the tournament in the lobby of bwin Poker by going the the scheduled tournaments. You can register for a buy in of $10+$1. So far so good and still nothing weird about it, right? Well, here it comes:
While you will fight for each and every final position that you can gain in a regular tournament, the pay out structure of the $10,000 Easter Egg Hunt tournament is somewhat different. As in all other poker tournaments the winner will of course get the highest amount of prize money ($1,950) – places 2 to 10 however will only receive $50. If you finish eleventh you will be rewarded with an Easter egg in the form of $1,240! This structure goes on until a finishing position of 161 which will still earn you $80. To make it short: Every tenth position will receive such an Easter egg while all the positions between will earn between $15 and $50.
You will in any case receive more than your buy-in when finishing in the top 161 but you should preferably try to end up at one of the mentioned places to get rewarded with an Easter egg. If you think you can win it all, by all means play for the win. If for you ending in the top 50 is already a big success, why not try going out at 41, 31, 21 … At any rate this poker tournament is something very different. Give it a try (unless you are out there looking for real Easter eggs that is)!
And once again it’s that time of the year where we gather around a tree and celebrate together with our loved ones. While the many special Christmas offers of our featured

As of November 1st you can play against the defending champ Stewart Scott in the $64+$6 buyin Aussie Millions ANZ Satellite Qualifiers at 4:05ET every Tuesday and Thursday. The player that knocks out Stewart Scott will win his $70 dollar bounty. Keep in mind that this opportunity is meant for Australian and New Zealand players only. While there has been mentioned that anyone can participate and win one of the Aussie Millions prize packages this way we have no official statement by partypoker. We also want to emphasise that the packages won this way have a value of $12,000 unlike the Aussie Millions Main Event prize packages for the rest of the world that are valued at $15,000 – mostly due to the higher travel expenses.
