Playing online poker at partypoker has never been as rewarding, now that the site has introduced a bevy of new features to its poker software. The newest round of upgrades to the partypoker software includes improvements to the partypoker lobby, the poker tables, and multi-tabling functionality.

The lobby improvements make it easier than ever before to find exactly the table you’re looking for, adding a convenient Favorites Area for storing your most preferred tables and an easy-to-use Quick Search tool to find new ones to enjoy. You can now preview what the action is like at a table you’re considering sitting in at before you actually do sit in. Then, once you’ve found the game you want to join, you can use the Quick Seat feature of the partypoker client to get in on the action at any partypoker table within a matter of seconds. The Quick Seat search feature even works in Multi-tabling mode.

The poker table improvements include personalisable player avatars, even allowing players to upload their own images to partypoker, a better action area that makes placing bets a lot more simple and straightforward, and all your features bundled together in the same area of the display instead of all spread out and hard to use.

The multi-tabling improvements now include the ability to open and join other tables directly from within the table at which you’re still seated. There’s also a new lobby preference specifically for multi-tablers, and a convenient Open Table button. Viewing options for your multiple tables on partypoker just expanded, with the new cascading view and tiling view options. You can now easily resize your tables manually for easiest viewability, and you can set a default table size to make it all automatic. You can also sort your tables directly onscreen by game type or average pot size or any custom order you wish to set.

Palladium Rewards – A Higher Standard Of Player Loyalty At partypoker

partypoker has revamped its Palladium Rewards player loyalty programme, and it’s both simpler and more rewarding than ever. In apparent response to player feedback, partypoker has improved the Palladium Rewards programme with more status levels, greater bonus options and cash redemption options, and most importantly perhaps, a cleaner, more easy to understand points system.

partypoker Loyalty ProgrammeNow you just play at any real money game of any time – cash or tournament – and earn PartyPoints, at a rate of 2 points for every $1 spent in either rake or tournament fees. partypoker updates your PartyPoints balance as soon as you leave a table. You can apply those PartyPoints toward purchases at the PartyPoints Store, which includes gift certificates, tournament entries, and even cash redemption. Plus, players get a progressively increasing discount on items purchased at the PartyPoints Store the more PartyPoints spent at one time.

The only exception to all that is that you don’t get any PartyPoints for games played at private tables on the site.

partypoker Rakeback – up to 40%

As you earn PartyPoints, you advance up status levels, or what partypoker calls “Key Levels”, starting everyone off at Bronze, the lowest, and progressing up through Silver, Gold and beyond. At each level you can now redeem PartyPoints for cash, at increasing redemption rates as you advance levels, and what’s more, with increasing cash bonuses on top of the redeemed amount. And clearing poker bonuses are now a simple (and easy) 25% of the bonus amount.

The highest Key Level to which a player can aspire at partypoker is now not “merely” Palladium but Palladium Elite. At this level, players can purchase bonuses that give them as much as $20 cash back for every 100 PartyPoints earned, making for the equivalent of a 40% rakeback.

To advance to the Silver Key Level you must earn and maintain 400 PartyPoints per month. To advance to the Gold Key Level you must earn and maintain 1,000 PartyPoints per month. At the Palladium Key Level, the requirement shifts to a quarterly period, wherein you must earn 9,000 PartyPoints in a calendar quarter to maintain Palladium Key Level status and 50,000 PartyPoints in a calendar quarter in order to maintain Palladium Elite Key Level status.

partypoker Monthly Million Returns Next Month

You may have noticed that there was no Monthly Million tournament at partypoker on the first Sunday of this month (Sunday, August 1) as there usually would be. That’s because of the partypoker Summer Special that took place on Sunday, July 18, combining the rewards of July and August into a single, blowout event (and what blowout it was!). But fear not, the Monthly Million returns to partypoker on Sunday September 5, and the time to start qualifying for that event is now. And it only costs $1.

That is to say, there are many ways to qualify for the partypoker Monthly Million, but the cheapest of these paths starts at a mere buck.

Here is the full qualifying structure for the partypoker Monthly Million:

  • Daily $1 Monthly Million Sub Qualifier Speed Rebuys and $8 Monthly Million Sub Qualifier Speed event lead into daily $64 + $6 Monthly Million Qualifiers which each guarantee 19 seats in the Monthly Million.
  • Daily $1M: MEGA Friday Satellite Qualifier Speed Rebuys for $2 and daily $1M: MEGA Friday Satellite Qualifier Speed events for $6 lead into the $50 + $5 Friday night $1M: MEGA Friday Satellite, with each guaranteeing 20 seats in the Monthly Million.
  • Daily $1M: Super Satellite Saturday Qualifier Speed Rebuys for $1 and weekly $1M: Super Satellite Saturday Qualifier Speed events, running three times each Saturday, for $4 buy-ins lead into one of two weekly $32 + $3 $1M: Super Satellite Saturday qualifiers, one promising 15 seats guaranteed and one promising 3 seats guaranteed for a total of 18 seats guaranteed in the Monthly Million.
  • Daily $47 Monthly Million Sub Qualifier Extra Speed events lead into daily $160 + $12 Monthly Million Qualifier Extras, each awarding one in four players seats in the Monthly Million, with at least 3 seats guaranteed to be awarded.
  • Daily Country Specific Freerolls and Daily Player Points Qualifiers lead into Friday Monthly Million Specials with no direct buy-ins and 20 seats in the Monthly Million guaranteed.

WPT Borgata Poker Open Coming Up, partypoker Running Satellites

partypoker WPT 2010 Borgata Poker Openpartypoker is running freeroll tournaments, single-table Sit & Go tournaments, and scheduled multi-table tournaments as satellites for their players to qualify for the premiere event on this season’s World Poker Tour schedule, the WPT Borgata Poker Open, held in Atlantic City, NJ, at the Borgata Hotel and Casino.

The $7,500 partypoker prize packages for the WPT Borgata Poker Open 2010 include the $3,500 main event buy-in as well as the costs for the accomodation in the hotel throughout the event and a little spending cash to play around with.

The qualifying structure for the 2010 WPT Borgata Open partypoker satellites is as follows.

It starts with daily freeroll tournaments, the WPT Borgata Freerolls, awarding the top 50 finishers a seat in the WPT Borgata Sub Qualifier Speed Rebuy. These events, also running daily, have direct buy-ins of $1. One seat in the WPT Borgata Satellite Qualifier will be awarded for every $70 collected in buy-ins.

There’s also a WPT Borgata Sub Qualifier Speed tournament, also running daily. There is no freeroll qualifier for these events, only a direct buy-in of $3.50 + $0.50. At these events, one out of every ten players will get a seat in the partypoker WPT Borgata Satellite Qualifier.

The WPT Borgata Satellite Qualifier has a $32 + $3 buy-in. It takes place on partypoker daily at 1:45 pm ET. On Sundays, it is a Turbo event. At these events, one out of every ten players will win a seat in the WPT Borgata Satellite.

The WPT Borgata Satellite takes place every Sunday at 3:20 pm ET on partypoker and has a direct buy-in of $300 + $20. One 2010 Borgata Poker Open partypoker prize package is guaranteed to be awarded at each of these events for every 25 players registered.

The 2010 WPT Borgata Poker Open main event is scheduled to take place from September 19 – 24. The prize package includes accommodations for September 17 – 23, though more nights will be added for players who continue to the final table.

The Full House $50K Cash Game Race, for cash game players, is a leader board based events where players are ranked based on how many points they earn while playing at partypoker’s cash tables during the promotional period (August 2 – 29). Qualify For partypoker’s $300k Guaranteed Sunday

Each Sunday, a multi-table online poker tournament with a guaranteed prize pool of $300,000 takes place at partypoker called, appropriately, the $300K Guaranteed Sunday.

Starting every Sunday at 12:45 pm ET, the partypoker $300K Guaranteed Sunday has several ways to enter. You can buy-in directly for $215 or you can enter one of partypoker’s many qualifiers for much less and win your way in. And now, partypoker has introduced even more $300K Guaranteed Sunday qualifiers from which to choose.

There are both Multi-Table and Single-Table Tournament Qualifiers into the partypoker $300K GTD Sunday.

The MTT qualifiers include the following:

  • $300K Guaranteed Sunday Qualifier Speed for $21.50 + $1.50
  • $300K Guaranteed Sunday Qualifier Rebuy for $2.40 + $0.60
  • $300K Guaranteed Sunday Qualifier for a buy-in of 50 partypoker Points

partypoker is holding an instant prize promotion called the Card Rush in which players need only play poker online as they normally do at partypoker and in the process of earning partypoker Points for their real money play also earn instant cards, each worth some prize amount up to $5,000. Every instant card holder is a winner, and all the fun started on Monday, June 28, 2010.

The partypoker Card Rush XL promotion runs through July 31st, unless all $1,800,000 in instant cards is handed out before then.

It only takes 15 PartyPoints to earn a game card, except for your first game card which partypoker will give you after you earn only 5 PartyPoints.

WPT Legends of Pokerpartypoker has just launched online satellite tournaments awarding players entry into the upcoming 2010 World Poker Tour Legends of Poker main event, which will take place in Los Angeles, CA from August 18th until August 24th.

The partypoker prize package for the winners of these satellites is worth $8,000 and includes not only the buy-in for the 2010 WPT Legends of Poker main event but accommodations during the tournament and cash to apply towards travel expenses.

partypoker is now holding daily freeroll sit ‘n’ go WPT Legends of Poker satellite tournaments, awarding the finest fifty players from each a seat in the next level up the satellite ladder, the WPT Legends of Poker Sub Qualifier Rebuy. The Sub Qualifier Rebuy in turn advances winning players to a satellite Qualifier, which in turn advances the winning players to the WPT Legends of Poker Satellites themselves, in which the actual main event prize packages will be given out.

You can alternatively opt to skip over any of these levels and pay the direct buy-in for the level above.
